The Open Scholarship Initiatives (OSI) is an organization under the management of the National Science Communication Institute (nSCI) and UNESCO. It aims to show how future journal publishing should be, I can say that this is a group that is wondering about journal publishing to the question such as the question such as whether it is open access and whether the current academic journal should be used as a means of communication of research contents in the future There is. For the next decade from 2016, various members of the world’s various journalists, researchers, professors, universities and research institutes will gather to hold official meetings every year.

With Open Scholarship enabled, the range of people who can use journals will be far greater than now, and authors will be able to publish their findings to more readers in less restrictive environments. As a result, universities and other research institutions will be able to receive more funding or hire more researchers.

Of course, you can also think about the problems. Although it is inconvenient to publish a thesis as it is now, the quality of the thesis is guaranteed by a process such as peer review. However, if a paper is published in the form of an Open Scholarship, it is difficult to determine who should be examined, and therefore the quality of the paper can not be guaranteed. Also, if the perception that the quality of a paper is not guaranteed is rampant, people may not want to see it. Finally, it can be a problem that countries like the US and Europe and other countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa, which are now trying to get published, can have equal access to publishing / access opportunities.

OSI does not think that these advantages or disadvantages can be achieved and solved in a short time. However, we will discuss with members of various scales over the next 10 years to find ways to publish free articles while preserving the quality of articles as much as possible. Ultimately, I believe that as many people become easier to subscribe to theses , they will be able to create better, deeper knowledge in any academic discipline .
